Meet Arpita S. Patel, DDS

Dr. Arpita S. Patel graduated with a DDS degree from the New York University College of Dentistry in 2015. While a DDS candidate, she received awards in biomaterials research focused on the surgical approach of dental implants. Dr. Patel has also received the annual award at Bronx Care Health System for outstanding performance in evidence-based dentistry. Dr. Patel is experienced with an array of restorative dentistry procedures, including the placement of dental implants and many other treatments that can improve dental health, function, and appearance.

Dr. Patel has published clinical research in the International Journal of Periodontics and Restorative Dentistry (UPRD). Her experience includes one year of general dental practice residency at Bronx Care Health System and two internship years of Oral & Maxillofacial surgical training at Jacobi Medical Center and Brooklyn Hospital Center.

Dr. Patel joined the Prosthodontics specialty program at NYUCD in 2018, where she was appointed Chief Resident in her final year and received an award for academic excellence in Prosthodontics. She received her certificate in Prosthodontics in 2021.

Currently, Dr. Patel is a prosthodontist and clinical faculty member at the Touro College of Dental Medicine, and an adjunct clinical assistant professor at the NYU College of Dentistry, where she teaches advanced and complex dental care practices.
